First, I give glory to the one being that has been with me and who sent his son to die for me. Glory be to God that if it wasn’t for his son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for me, I wouldn’t have a chance of redemption. His love and grace have been with me all my life, even when I chose many times to turn away from him. And yet, he has left the 99 in order to bring me back. I am nothing without my Lord.

 

So let’s set the record straight: this website is where I choose to release my writings on. It’s where I choose to write whatever I want and to address whoever I want. I am using A Novel’s Heart to share exactly what comes to mind. Whether it’s a full review of a coffee shop to posting my short stories, from sharing a slice of life to doing a review on a current book I am reading; I want to create and share what comes to mind all because... I can.

 

To me, writing was the one thing that has stood out to me in my youth. I used to write with such eagerness and thoughtfulness. I created different characters, chose their personalities, and navigated their dialogue to create an uncertain future...which I had total control over. Although my introduction to the world of books and story telling was not a healthy one, the events that initiated and sparked the writer in me, were used as a catalyst to create this website.

 

I must admit; I lost my passion for writing and have been avoiding starting over due to what life has presented throughout my years. Life sometimes be lifing . I have lived and have taken for granted my slice of life moments all because I was not focused on the present. So, I want to make a big change for the year of 2025: I want to live life and write again - just for the fun of it. Have no expectations, no rules, have the freedom to write exactly what I want.

 

My hope is that whoever runs into this website, will be able to learn something from whatever I write. As stated before, I am going to write about what I want - which varies. There is no formula, no schedule, no rules, no time frame, no rush. At the end, there is only a woman and her computer... with hopefully a cup of coffee.

 

Also, if you do not choose to stick around, that’s okay too. Just always remember and have this carved in your heart... God loves you and he proved it thru Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
